Maruseigo: Inward-curved point, rounded bend, elongated body. Easy to bait with worms, good for small-mouthed fish, hard to unhook; widely used in sabiki rigs.
Red Sode: Sharp point, long shank, fine wire, lightweight. Designed for fast suction-feeding panfish.
Izumezina: Offset point tilted ~45° (offset point design). All-around versatility for small to medium fish; size #2 can hold up to 1 kg (2.2 lb) fish without deforming.
Iseni: Short shank, heavy wire, high hardness. Difficult for fish to spit out, yielding higher hookup rates on large freshwater fish like carp and bighead carp.

Iseni Hook: Thick wire, wide gap, shorter shank, and inward point; suitable for medium to large fish like carp and grass carp.
Izume Hook: Thin wire, long shank, unique beak design, tough wire construction, excellent penetration, wear resistance, and bend resistance.
Maruseigo Hook: Medium wire diameter, medium shank, narrow gap, straight yet inward-curved point; ideal for live bait like worms and lugworms.
Gold Sode Hook: Thin shank for fast penetration, electroplated finish, sharp point; ideal for small carp.
