Shrimp Rigging Methods
- Method 1 - Belly Hook Rig: Most common method, natural presentation and good palatability; tends to spin in fast current, best suited for slow water.
- Method 2 - Back Hook Rig: Exposed legs help deter small bait-stealers and prolong bait life; tends to spin more easily in swift currents.
Krill Rigging Methods
- Straight Rig Method: Ensures the bait remains straight and natural in fast currents. Note that the exposed hook point may slightly affect fish uptake.
- Multi-Shrimp Rig Method: Increases the bait target profile for larger fish. Use back-hooking or paired rigging for two shrimp, or hook through the thick back meat for three or more shrimp. Best suited for slow currents due to its unnatural action.
