Hook Sizing Comparison Notice
- Chinu (千又) and Iseni (伊势尼) hook sizes are NOT the same.
- Size comparison: Chinu #1 is equivalent to Iseni #6.
- Hook sizes vary by hook pattern. Please check your required pattern name and compare size dimensions before purchasing.

Difference Between Ring Eye Chinu Hook and Standard Chinu Hook
- Standard Chinu Hook: Spade end (flattened top)
- Ring Eye Chinu Hook: Tube eye / Ring eye end

Chinu Thin Wire ≠ Fine Wire Hook
- Chinu thin-wire hooks are only slightly thinner compared to reinforced Chinu hooks, but they are not fine-wire hooks.
- Chinu hooks are designed primarily for targeting large fish, so they are not ultra-thin in order to maintain structural hook strength.
- Please refer to the detailed wire diameter/size data in the product description before purchasing.

Fishing Hook Style Comparison
- Fine wire Chinu pattern (spade end / flat head): Black (40-pack)
- Strong / heavy duty pattern (spade end / flat head): Black (40-pack)
- Tube eye / ring eye pattern: Black (40-pack)

Why Choose Between Fine Wire and Heavy Duty Chinu Hooks?
- Chinu hooks are well-tested and suitable for both freshwater and saltwater fishing.
- Fine wire hooks allow easier hookups and better bait presentation.
- Heavy wire strengthened hooks offer higher strength designed for targeting larger fish.
- Developed with Japanese manufacturers to offer both fine and heavy wire options.

Offset Point Fishing Hook Features
- Shank: Symmetrical, smooth electroplated shank to protect the line under heavy tension.
- Body: Made of high-carbon steel with 5H high hardness for exceptional strength without brittleness.
- Hook Point: High-hardness point repeatedly polished for long-lasting sharpness and deep penetration.
- Hook Bend & Barb: Smooth, rounded bend distributes stress evenly; offset barb design securely locks fish to prevent escapes.
