Basic Hook Tying Instructions
- Step 1: Hold the doubled line along the back of the hook shank.
- Step 2: Begin wrapping the line around the hook shank.
- Step 3: Wrap 4 turns around the shank, making sure to leave a small loop at the bottom.
- Step 4: After wrapping 4 turns, pass the tag end through the small loop.
- Step 5: Pull tight and trim the excess line tag end.
- Safety Note: Hook points are extremely sharp; exercise caution during handling.
