Tips for Shrimp Fishing
- Baiting: Red earthworms are recommended. Cut to appropriate length and thread onto the hook shank, leaving 3–5 mm of the hook point exposed.
- Float Tuning: The pre-weighted rig needs 1–3 float beads visible above water. The sinker should rest upright on the bottom so the hook is accessible to shrimp rather than lying completely flat.
- Setting the Hook: Fish near the shore. When the float starts twitching, wait for it to slowly drag sideways before gently lifting the rod. Avoid sudden, forceful jerks.
