Usage Guidelines & Thickness Selection Guide
- Light shutter doors/light cargo: 8 mm or 10 mm rod.
- Manhole covers <60 cm: 10 mm or 12 mm rod.
- Manhole covers 60–70 cm (or iron covers <1 m): 12 mm or 14 mm rod.
- Manhole covers >70 cm: 22 mm rod.
- Rod made of national standard rebar
- Handle made of thickened 4-point round pipe
- Hook point forged and quenched; smooth cold-bent tip without sharp points
