Handle Knob Installation Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare tools and materials including a screwdriver, replacement handle knob, bearings, washers, bushings, and other fittings.
- Step 2: Remove the original handle knob by unscrewing the fixing screw located under the cap on either side.
- Step 3: Install new handle knob fittings in sequence starting with a washer at the base of the handle arm, followed by bushings, sleeves, and bearings as required.
- Step 4: Slide the new knob onto the shaft and align it with the handle arm mounting hole.
- Step 5: Adjust play by tightening the top screw and testing rotation. Add or reduce washer thickness to achieve smooth rotation without excess play.
- Step 6: Securely tighten the top screw and reattach the decorative cap/screw if applicable.
