High Carbon Content Fluorocarbon Line Identification
- 1. Good fluorocarbon line leaves black carbon residue after burning, which easily turns into carbon powder when pinched with fingers.
- 2. Unlike nylon line, fluorocarbon line self-extinguishes immediately when removed from the flame.
- 3. Thicker high-carbon lines contain higher carbon content and increase in price accordingly; nylon-based low-carbon lines are generally unaffected by diameter.
